Their mild nutty flavour (think sunflower seeds in herb format), are well suited for both raw and cooked dishes. Sunflower shoots are perfect for adding flavour and crunch to sandwiches and wraps to add texture and moisture. They are wonderful in sushi or salad rolls, and as garnish in soups or noodle-based meals.
