Nasturtium Blue Pepe

Nasturtium edible leaves work well in savoury and sweet dishes as well as an edible garnish. Due to the peppery taste of these edible leaves, pairing them with milder flavours is recommended. Try pureeing them for a delicious nasturtium pesto or adding dried nasturtium leaves to salt, giving the salt a very unique peppery flavour.

20 g are roughly 30 – to 40 leaves

Nasturtium Blue Pepe are a member of the cabbage family and the edible leaves resemble a miniature lily pad. At first these leaves taste sweet, with a slow release of a peppery, almost spicy taste. The aroma is akin to that of mustard or watercress.
