The variety of beetroot microgreens we grow is Bull’s Blood. It features reddish-pink stems, a dash of green leaves, and a mild, slightly sweet flavour (like regular beetroots!). These microgreens are best used raw as an edible garnish. Because of their sweet and earthy flavour, it is well suited for both sweet and savoury dishes. To avoid wilting, it’s best to use these microgreens in the final stages of cooking.
